Web Lists
The Morton Grove Public Library offers a series of Internet classes on various subjects for Morton Grove residents. For each class, library staff members prepare a WebList, for use during the class, consisting of general information on the subject and an extensive list of related Web links. We've had many requests for our training materials, both from other libraries and from other communities' library patrons. We welcome the opportunity to share our materials, and we ask that you notify us before reproducing mass quantities of them. Lots of hard work and many long hours have gone (and continue to go) into the development of these pages!
About Our Classes The Morton Grove Public Library offers Internet classes to Morton Grove residents several times each year. Our approach to Internet training is that it must be hands-on, and as individual as possible. We've designed these pages to utilize the many facets and features of our Web site. The introductory class relies almost exclusively on the Morton Grove Public Library's Web site and, in particular, the Webrary Links. While this works well in our library, it might not work in yours. Classes at the introductory level are limited to fifty participants, followed by individual tutoring sessions so that each has the opportunity to practice and experiment. Classes at the more advanced levels are limited to six members, with teams of two working on each computer.
